MTVCase Study

mtvU’s “Woodie Awards” recognizes “the music voted best by college students” in a raucous annual celebration. The awards event and cable telecast feature artists who are only a radio hit or buzzworthy live show away from breaking into the big time. To extend the event online, mtvU added an ‘all access pass’ to enable music fans to experience the performances and all the action, on stage and off, just as if they were in the seats. Immersive Media’s two cameras covered both the stage performances and off-stage antics in celebrity seating.
